What's the deal with Small Business?

We would like to discuss the term "small business",
and how it seems to be viewed in the CRM solutions marketplace.

Most of our competitors seem to believe that a business has to have 50+ staff to be able to justify, afford and utilise a CRM solution, and seem to price their products accordingly.

We see the numbers a bit differently! Therefore, we have priced our products very differently.

We believe that any business that values their customers, and wants to offer outstanding customer service and support, deserves to be able to afford a CRM solution to help them do just that.

Note: All of the CRM solutions on the market have their strengths and weaknesses, so if you find another CRM solution that has a feature you cant live without, implement that solution, we wont be upset :)

We thought long and hard about how we would go head to head with our competitors in this ever evolving marketplace, but with all of the fantastic features we ALL offer, a feature comparison became silly!

We also took the same approach when we were designing and developing eContact.

Our thoughts were... If we were to make a system that matched all of the features that our competitors offered, then unless we found a drastically different and better way of implementing them, all we would end up with is our competitors product with our name on it.

Instead, we decided to pretend that there were NO CRM solutions out there already, and design a spec from the ground up, based on what we and our first client thought were great business practices.

4 years, 3 releases, and many clients later, we delivered eContact v1.5.
